An invitation to a murder

Radio BaxterSally Baxter, Girl Reporter, requests the pleasure of your company for the next session of Radio Baxter, listening to classic albums in the old fashioned style. Playalonga while I tweetalonga to Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds’ Murder Ballads.

Warning! The language is strong, the themes are grisly and the gore is waist-deep, more if you’re short like me. This is NOT suitable for the young or the faint of heart. But it’s great fun and a fine Aussie classic.

So, if you’re not doing anything on Saturday, 8 March from 8pm Brisbane time, why not join me on Twitter for a murder or 65. BYO Music. It’ll be fun.

Follow me @BaxterRadio or at #RadioBaxter #MurderBallads but if you can’t make it, don’t despair! I’ll be putting it all up on the blog the following day.

Check the previous session, on Van Morrison’s Astral Weeks, here:

NOW FILING AT WWW.MARIASPACKMAN.COM

Your Girl Reporter is now filing as Maria Spackman at www.mariaspackman.com Same great content, whole new website. I’m leaving Sally Baxter up, as I can’t quite bring myself to let her go completely, but it’s time to honour my family name – and use it. Hope you’ll join me for the Further Adventures of a Girl Reporter. It’ll be fun.
