There’s a full moon rising so let’s dance to it with Neil Young’s Harvest Moon


Radio BaxterWhen the world gets too much and nothing makes sense, there’s still the night sky, a full moon and Neil Young.

This weekend the superest Super Moon of the year will shine down on this tired old planet and that seems like as good a reason as any to settle back for another session of Radio Baxter in the company of Neil Young’s 1992 classic Harvest Moon.

Playalonga while I tweetalonga in a Twitter tribute to the old-fashioned FM radio classic album hour. It’s easy – grab a copy of the album, by fair means or foul, and be ready to hit play at 8pm Australian Eastern Standard Time on Saturday 9 August.

Then all you have to do is follow me on Twitter @BaxterRadio and at #RadioBaxter as I tweet along in realtime with fun facts and personal observations. And share your own thoughts as we go – whether you’re a newcomer to the album or count it among your favourites, I’d love to hear from you.

If you can’t make it, don’t despair. As with previous sessions, I’ll be putting it all up on the blog the following day which, coincidentally, will also be the biggest and brightest full moon of 2014.
